Moscow museum of modern art Music festival «LOOK AND LISTEN!» Moscow museum of modern art, Petrovka 25 Saturday, April 17, 4.15 PM BEETHOVEN A philosopher at one moment, a revolutionary a second later. Filled with tenderness one moment, and with explosive energy in the next. Provoking a smile, and, a second later, a lump in the throat. And always -- in every phrase, in every note -- telling us something important. In this program, there will be two string quartets (in orchestral versions) - Op. 18 No. 6 and Op. 95, and Romance in F major for violin and orchestra. Soloist - Evgeny Pravilov. Before and after the concert one can tour the new anniversary display “Open Doors Day”, dedicated to contemporary art of 1989-2009. And if one brought children to a 3:00 PM concert, during this program (4:15 - 5:15 PM) they will be taken on the excursion in search of "Treasures of Contemporary Art” and will be given a master class. |
