Moscow museum of modern art Music festival «LOOK AND LISTEN!» Moscow museum of modern art, Gogolevsky Blvd, 10 Saturday, May 22, 4:15 PM SCHUBERTIADA He lived only 31 years. Wrote around 1000 compositions, 600 of them - lieder. Did not hear any of his symphonies performed. But Schubertiadas - musical soirees with Schubert's lieder and chamber works - were popular yet during his lifetime in his native Vienna and other cities. And with Chamber Orchestra Kremlin - in Moscow as well! In this program Schubert's heavenly C major string quintet (in orchestral version) will be heard, along with miniatures for violin and orchestra and cello and orchestra. Before and after the concert one can take a guided tour of the exhibit "Always other art. Selected works from the collection of Victor Bondarenko". Exhibit of one of the largest collections of Russian contemporary art. And while the adults are enjoying their concert at 4.15pm, the kids will be taken on the excursion in search of "Treasures of Contemporary Art” and will be given a master class. |
