PROGRAMS WITH SOLOISTS
If desired, Russian or international soloists can be invited to appear with the orchestra, performing a wide range of compositions. Guest soloists can be suggested by the presenter or the music director of the orchestra. Additionally, Chamber Orchestra Kremlin can invite some of its Moscow's collaborators -- great artists, albeit not yet well known on the west and therefore quite affordable. Another very charming alternative - exceptionally talented young Russian performers. [possible link to a video here]
The above-stated options, however, will increase the cost of the concert. If your budget does not allow it, but featured soloist is desirable, there is a wonderful alternative -- members of Chamber Orchestra Kremlin as soloists. When they are performing as part of the orchestra's concert, there is no extra fee involved. Here are some inspiring samples:
PROKOFIEV -- Sonata No. 1 for violin and orchestra, op. 80
Evgeny Pravilov, violin
BACH -- Concerto for two violins and orchestra in D minor
Inessa Klubochkina and Olga Garshina, violins
SCHUBERT -- Sonata "Arpeggione"
Andrey Berezin, cello
GLINKA (arr. Rimsky-Korsakov) -- Susanin Aria from opera "Ivan Susanin"
Konstantin Ouvarov, double bass
