Evgenij Pravilow
As of now, Evgeny Pravilov is the one, who makes membership of Chamber Orchestra Kremlin international, as he holds not a Russian passport, but Belorussian, which was part of the Soviet Union until 1991. Eugeniy is still a student of the Schnittke Music Academy in Moscow, graduating in the summer of 2006.
His childhood inspirations were to be a pirate, but in his next life, he says now, he would like to be a conductor. One wonders... The list of his favorite composers is the most conventional one - Bach, Mozart, Schubert, Beethoven, Shostakovich. More or less the same with the performers - Polyakin, Oistrakh, Sitkovetsky, Waiman (all great Russian violinists), and, from the living musicians, cellist Alexander Rudin. Those, not knowing Evgeny personally, have all the reasons to think that he is a poster-boy of goodness and properness (on top of the above, he lists study as his hobby!), but those, acquainted with him know, that things are not quite as bad, and his favorite musical styles, besides classical, also give away another side of his character, as they are alternative rock and brit-pop
