ANTON
SAVCHENKO, violin
Anton began his musical study quite early, not yet being five. He shared the childhood aspirations with great many boys of his generation, wanting to become a cosmonaut. His favorite composers are Rachmaninov, Tchaikovsky and Shostakovich, and jazz is the favorite non-classical music genre. The list of favorite performers would also be in line with choices of the other members of the orchestra, with the names of Stern, Francescatti, Gould, if not for an unusual addition -- he names Claude Monet as "the greatest for me performer".
Explanation comes in his answer to the question as of his preference for "coming back as...". Prefacing his answer with the statement, that this question is interesting but very complicated, he nevertheless identifies "an artist" as his choice for his next life's occupation. But this is far off indeed - for now Anton is still a student of the Moscow Conservatory.
