This season, musicians of Chamber Orchestra KREMLIN perform on instruments loaned by some of the best contemporary violinmakers of Cremona, Italy

Violin by Gio Batta Morassi, 1973
PETR SHCHADENKO, violin

Petr Shchadenko began his music study at the age of 6, and already then wanted to be a jazz pianist. This did not happen, but jazz and art-rock are still his favorite music genres besides classical. His favorite composers are Bach, Franck and Ysaye. In his list of favorite musicians are just three violinists, but what a range - Kremer, Manze and Tretiakov - as diverse a group as one could think of. Equally diverse is the list of his favorite performers from the past - Heifetz, Grappelli, Szigeti.

Petr's hobbies are also music-related - electronic music and acoustics. His wish for his "next life" is to be a conductor, but he makes a point of stating, that the place of his birth must again be St. Petersburg - Petr is one of three Kremliners, who moved to Moscow from this city in order to join the orchestra.
