Alla began her musical study at age 6 in Moscow. Her favorite composers are Bach, Schubert, Rachmaninov and Shostakovich. Of the non-classical musical genres, she enjoys jazz and folk music. In her childhood she wanted to be a dancer or veterinarian, but is undecided on her preference for the next life.

Alla lists "musicmaking" as her hobby, an enviable devotion to her chosen profession. On the question of her musical idols, she answers "many".
